Action World

Last Friday all Year 7’s from Point England School went to Action World in Henderson, Auckland. We travelled by bus both ways. Action World’s activities are high wire, Trapeze, Jump n Slide, Crazy Ladder, Free Climb Wall, Jungle Swings and more. The cost of going to Action World is about $20 for a day-pass.

I enjoyed the Free climb wall the most because of the challenge of trying to reach the bell on the top of the wall. I was unable to reach the bell because of it’s extreme height for me. The crazy ladder was fun also because it pushed me to the limit of my ability to climb to such high heights.

All the activities are safe because they have soft landing mats when you fall or jump. One activity allows you to knock down your opponent with a soft bat or your hands everyone enjoyed knocking their friends down. By the looks on all the year 7’s faces everyone had enjoyed their time at Action World and went home having had fun with everyone.

Paul Walker Died

Paul walker was about to quit acting, to spend more times with 15 year old daughter, Meadow.
Meadow had moved from  in Hawaii to live with Paul in Santa Barbara. But paul crash in to the tree and died in Southern California. The car the he crash with was sold for $450,000. And now the car is super junk.

Reflection

This year having a netbook connected to the internet has helped my learning by giving access to information that I would not be able to get in the classroom. Having internet access has helped me with lots of things, like Maths to be able to practice strategies for the different areas in maths.

At home using my netbook I have used the internet to help me to research technical skills about computers, by looking at youtube and google.

At school sitting next to my friend’s I have learnt how to draw animations with there input I was able to do things I could not do on my own.

Grandad won over 250,000 NZD. After his grandson made to wales soccer team in the ages of 16. Youngest ever senior player. His grandad Peter Edwards ages 62 year olds.

The Book

I chose this book because I like bakugan and dragon. It a cool movie and story. I watch the movie everyday.

Mahia's Mural

Mahia is an artist. She has been commissioned to paint a mural on wall of a company's warehouse. The company wants the mural to be abstract (not representational) and they want it to show the colours of their company logo. They have specified it needs to have 1/3 blue,  1/6 red, 1/12 yellow, 1/12 white 1/12 purple and 1/4  green. They want it to have 2 lines of symmetry (reflection)  and  a rotating and translating pattern somewhere.

In My Holiday.

In my holiday it was boring because I just stayed at home and played with my brother. When i finished playing with my brother I played on my netbook game called “The Simpson hit and run and Mat mean =Mission Against Terror.” It was a shooting game and it was so fun! I also  played  “Mat at Malaysia”.

Every Friday I always have to go to my uncles house, he always has parties- but I hate it! They just talk all the time! It is so boring. I don’t know how they can talk so much!!

When I got home I just went to bed and watched TV up till 2AM

There is alway cool movie playing at 1AM, I like watching TV the most.

What if I had super powers?

If I had superpowers I could sing and dance like Michael Jackson. I can also fly like Superman. I could save the world and even save people. I can fly and go to anywhere I can, or even go to New York. I can make house that never can be happened.

If I had some super powers I could pick up huge rocks and even lift it anywhere I want to go. Even I could be the world's most strongest man in the world and even go as fast as a rocket. I can be like Flash and all of the superheroes in the world.

I can fly around the city and see if anyone needs my help. I flew until I heard someone say “help! help! Someone is taking my baby!” I flew as fast as I could to help get the baby back. Finally I got the baby back and I took it back to her mum.

It was a very cold day. I was walking to my friends house to pick him up to school. His name was Rocky. And my name is Lex I was at his house “Rocky are you there” “yeah I am here” Rocky reply “Let go to school man we going to be late” Lex reply “Ok wait” Rock said. And Rocky and Lex ran to school faster as they can to school. “Finally I am at school” Rocky said “Come on we are at wrong school” Lex said “No this our school you dumb” Rocky said “Oh sorry” Lex reply Rocky and Lex ran to their class no one was there. But really is morning tea. Rocky and Lex didn’t know is morning tea time. They thought it was doomsday. They ran to playground no one was there?. Rocky said “Come one where is everyones. As I nervously climbed up the mountain i felt sweat dripping down my hot boiling back. this quote by william feather is telling us His message for us is never give up and trying to reach your goals because that is how you will reach the top and persevere

Prospective Student

As he was climbing up the mountains suddenly he slipped. he was only holding on to the ledge with one hand. I hope i don’t fall off because i don’t have good grip”. he felt exhausted. and his hand was sore from climbing. And it looked like that he was cold because he didn’t have any t-shirt on. he said to himself i have finally reaches to the top of the mountain. As the boy was climbing the vertical cliff he was struggling. “Oh no i don’t want to die yet i am still too young”he thought to himself.” i don’t even have a wife yet please don’t die”. With Determination he finally made it to the top i am so so exhausted

I turn small.

The Moment I woke up, I discovered to my shock horror that is was the size of a small mouse! Today was going to be very interesting day indeed.

                                       

I wonder what I can do. I can go into little gaps in the wall and get food very easy.

But I can’t play computer games. I want to play Minecraft, Halo and far cry 3.

all I can do was lay on my computer and sleep.  the best thing is i can get cheese.

 I am so bored got nothing to do I want to go outside. I need to find mouse to play with.

finally i found some friends to play with inside maybe they know the way outside.

I try to talk with them but they don’t understand what I am talking about?

First I thought the mouse talked crazy language and then I found some mouse that know how to talk English.

I ask to the mouse “How get out of this boring house”.

But the mouse said “Give me cheese or i will not show the way out of here”.

I ran to the Kitchen to look for some cheese and I looked at the frig and I found little bit of  cheese.

I ran to the mouse to give the cheese but the mouse was gone.

I went to look for the mouse but he was no where to be found so I gave up but then I heard a little voice in the distance so I turned around and give the cheese to the mouse.       

And the mouse said “Sorry I went to the toilet”

And I give the mouse cheese.

The Mouse show me the way out and i said “Thank you”

And i turn normal i was so happy.

I think if I am dark i turn small.

My Friends

My friends name is Jayden . He is 11 years old. He is from the Cook Islands. Jayden is my friend from room 16. Jayden likes to play games, sport and a lot more. He taught me how to play Minecraft and a lot more games. He is special because he is my best friend and he is funny. He is good at math and reading. I am not as good as him he is too good for me. Sometimes Jayden comes to my house with Zyrin and Kyal.

Diabetes

This is an article about diabetes my group and I wrote.

Diabetes is a sickness where your pancreas isn’t working. Usually the function of the pancreas is to make insulin. Insulin is needed as a key to open the body cells so glucose can be absorbed. Glucose is needed for essential as it gives body energy

There are 2 types of diabetes type l and Type 2. Type 1 is where the pancreas is not working. It is not working.  It is not making enough insulin. Usually people get Type 1 diabetes when they are young. They have to inject insulin every day.

In Type 2 diabetes the pancreas makes insulin but the insulin doesn't work properly. It doesn't open the door to the body glucose go in. People often get Type 2 diabetes when they are adults. You are more likely to get it if someone in your family has it, If you are overweight, if you eat too much sugar and if you don’t exercise.

My story part 1

Once upon a time there were 2 people called Alex and Jack. Alex and Jack we're going down to the junk olds rock called Rock olds junk. Alex and Jack were never scary to ghosts.

The Day Things Started Disappearing

My dad has bought a new car. It is awesome and looks nice. It was a good day. and we went to sleep for the night. The dream was cool, But when i woke up the car was gone.

I told my mum and dad. But dad my didn't believe me. I don’t know why my dad didn't believe me. And i told my dad and mum to look for the car. My dad said where is the car to mum.

Mum said I don’t know my dear.

And my dad called the police but the line was busy. Then my dad went to the police station. It took about 1 hour to get there. My dad was at the police station but no one was there so my dad went back home and then my dad went to my neighbor's houses but t he neighbor was not there. There were no cars and people anywhere. We tried to call someone but no one answered the phone.

I don’t know what happened. I think it was the end of the world. 23 days later noting happened. I asked my mum what happened. My mum said i have no idea. And I asked my dad . Dad also said i have no idea. I also have no idea too.

I thought I had to live like this forever.Then I saw someone. It was not my dad and mum. It looked like a scary old man in there alone. The house looked like a ghost house. I tried to go inside. I could't go in. I don’t know why. I turned back and I saw a big snake.

I ran. The snake was following me. I ran to the beach. I swam and swam. And I looked back. The snake was gone. And I tried to swim back. 

Then I went back to my house. My mum and dad were gone

so I went to sleep. Then I woke up. the car was back , the police were back , the neighbor was back , the scary old man was gone and there was no big snake. Everything was back. My dad and mum were also back. I think was just a dream.

Abandon House

On a cloudy afternoon, a boy named Nick saw an old rusty house that was abandoned by the person who used to live there. There were broken shards of glass on the ground and creaking noises coming from the old wooden door. Nick walked step by step cautiously as he got startled by black crows flying away with a weird noise.

Nick kept walking looking side by side as he came closer to the wooden broken door. Nick was getting scared as the door creaked and opened slowly. He walked up the old curvy steps as the old wooden door opened.

Inside the abandoned house Nick saw darkness from a distance. Nick stepped on something weird and it felt squishy. As he looked down It was a smelly old rat. He went on and investigated the abandoned house as he saw an old picture with an old lady with spider webs all over it. Nick blew off the webs as he saw that the photo said “This House is resident to this lady” Nick thought that was odd. As he was about to leave the house , there was a big bang “Bang” and Nick ran away with fear.

Adventure Quest Worlds

Hi I would like to tell you about my favourite game called Adventure Quest Worlds.

It is the best game that I have ever played. I think the best class is necromancer.
When you start playing AQW it is not so cool. But the first class is good.
When you start AQW the first class is the warrior, mage, rogue and healer.

I think the best class to start the game is Rogue. Do you know what you can do if you are a member. If you are a member you can use cool Pets like Dragons, Wolves and Birds.
It is so cool when you are a member because you can buy a different class, better weapons and other things.
I think the coolest weapon is the Ungodly Reavers of Nulgath.
